Danger! Halloween Candy is Cursed by Witches!

Seriously people. Can this be real? The author, Kimberly Daniels, lives in a fairyland world filled with demons, spirits, witches, vampires, and of course Lucifer and God. It's hilarious ... except that it's not a joke.

The really scary part of this is that it's not some random nobody. It was published as a guest blog in Charisma, a serious Christian news site with a large following. Here's what Daniels says about Halloween:
The Danger of Celebrating Halloween

The root word of Halloween is "hallow," which means "holy, consecrated and set apart for service." If this holiday is hallowed, whose service is it set apart for? The answer to that question is very easy—Lucifer's!

... [Halloween] is dedicated to darkness and is an accursed season. During Halloween, time-released curses are always loosed. ... During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. ... For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.

I do not buy candy during the Halloween season. Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference. ...

Mother earth is highly celebrated during the fall demonic harvest. Witches praise mother earth by bringing her fruits, nuts and herbs. Demons are loosed during these acts of worship. When nice church folk lay out their pumpkins on the church lawn, fill their baskets with nuts and herbs, and fire up their bonfires, the demons get busy. ...

Halloween is much more than a holiday filled with fun and tricks or treats. It is a time for the gathering of evil that masquerades behind the fictitious characters of Dracula, werewolves, mummies and witches on brooms. The truth is that these demons that have been presented as scary cartoons actually exist. ...

The danger of Halloween is not in the scary things we see but in the secret, wicked, cruel activities that go on behind the scenes. These activities include:
  • Sex with demons
  • Orgies between animals and humans
  • Animal and human sacrifices
  • Sacrificing babies to shed innocent blood
  • Rape and molestation of adults, children and babies
  • Revel nights
  • Conjuring of demons and casting of spells
  • Release of "time-released" curses against the innocent and the ignorant.
Another abomination that goes on behind the scenes of Halloween is necromancy, or communication with the dead. ...

There is no doubt in my heart that God is not calling us to replace fall festivals and Halloween activities; rather, He wants us to utterly destroy the deeds of this season. If you or your family members have opened the door to any curses that are released during the demonic fall festivals, renounce them and repent.
Wow. Can you imagine what the author's life must be like? Demons and witches lurk behind every bush and in every dark corner. Lucifer and God watch her when she undresses or does anything intimate. The candy counter at the grocery store has been cursed by witches. Evil spirits try to subvert her every action. Her friends are all going to Hell. And the only path she can take to avoid all of these dangers is to follow the confusing jumble of morals and advice from a book written over two thousand years ago – a time when these superstitions might have been understandable.

Are we making progress yet?

  2. Aren't most of her examples above things that not only happen in the bible, but that are actually condoned by the bible as well?

  3. I am seriously missing out on some crazy Halloweens, apparently. My day consists of getting off early and dressing my son up as an animal or action hero and rolling around the neighborhood smiling and talking to neighbors. We also carve pumpkins and make seasonal snacks. We decorate some. Harvest stuff and mythical beings. Many holidays involve mythical beings. The Easter Bunny, Santa, Jesus Christ - what's the harm?

  4. I consider the scariest part of Halloween the people who are against it.
This is why it's extra important to celebrate Halloween. Keep pissing of the Xian right, people! Peace out, Sarah

  5. The spiritual realm is very real. If you even read half of what Jesus did in the New Testament you'll see it. The scariest part of Halloween isn't anything decoration or costumes or even the candy and it is the demonic influence we open ourselves and our home up to unaware...and the scarier part is how deceived even Christians are about how the enemy truly is...oh many many say' it's a kids holiday, give it a rest.' I say this...it's no holiday or celebration but an observance of death, demonic and evil beyond what even any movie has ever portrayed; it is far from anything Godly.

"If you decide that it's a bad thing to worship God, then choose a god you'd rather serve—and do it today. Choose one of the gods your ancestors worshiped from the country beyond The River, or one of the gods of the Amorites, on whose land you're now living. As for me and my family, we'll worship God." -- Joshua 24:15

  7. It is a Celtic harvest festival, Samhain, pure and simple. Very similar to Latin America's Dias de Muertas. Honouring the dead, enjoying the fruits of the labours, and part of a pagan faith that has been around thousands of years before Christianity. Learn about the pagan roots of the holidays. Get your head out of your ass, and get educated! Knowledge is power. Blessed be!

  8. When the veil is lifted on Halloween the spirit world and the physical world are parallel. Not all spirits are nice; the traditions of Halloween promote honoring the dead while at the same time chasing off these evil spirits [historically speaking]. Other traditions such as the apple bob were used to determine who young girls would marry. When the sun leaves the sky in fall - so does life, figuratively speaking, until the return of spring. Halloween is a time of remembering our ancestors, reminding ourselves of own mortality, seeking closure and planing for the future, when the sun, life returns. FYI: The most well known necromancer of all times is... Jesus.
